# `flights.supplier_timeout` — Airline system did not answer in time

**HTTP status:** 504  
**Retryable:** yes — the same request may succeed later (reuse your Idempotency-Key)

## When it happens

The airline's reservation system was too slow. For a hold, nothing was booked unless the booking appears in `GET /flights/bookings?agencyReference=…`.

## What to do

Retry with the same `Idempotency-Key` after a few seconds.
