# `idempotency.key_reused` — Idempotency-Key reused with a different request

**HTTP status:** 422  
**Retryable:** no — change the request or the flow first

## When it happens

The key was already used for a request with a different method, path or body.

## What to do

Generate a new key for every new operation; reuse a key only to retry exactly the same request.
