Art Basel 2027

Art Basel 2027 takes place from 17 to 20 June 2027 in Basel, Switzerland. The fair brings leading galleries from around the world to Messe Basel to show modern and contemporary art. It attracts collectors, curators, art lovers and cultural tour groups, and is a strong premium-travel opportunity for agencies in the Gulf, Asia and Europe.

About Art Basel

Art Basel began in Basel in 1970 and has grown into a global brand with fairs in several cities, but the June show in Basel remains its flagship. Galleries present works by established masters and emerging artists, and the fair includes sectors for large-scale installations, films and talks.

Fair week turns Basel into a hub for the art world. Satellite fairs, museum exhibitions and gallery events take place around the city, and institutions such as the Kunstmuseum Basel and the Fondation Beyeler in nearby Riehen are major draws in their own right.

For Gulf and Asian collectors, and for agencies serving high-net-worth clients, Art Basel is an important date in the international art calendar. The fair also suits university and cultural groups who want to see a very wide range of contemporary art in a few days.
